Third Capacity Building Conference

The final conference in the CCI4EU series “Effective Patient Pathways” focuses on designing, implementing, and evaluating patient-centred cancer care pathways. Topics include multidisciplinary teamwork, patient engagement, clinical trial integration, and the use of AI and KPIs to optimise outcomes.

Tenth Online Course

The final course in the series examines innovative diagnostic technologies, including WGS, liquid biopsy, and AI tools. Experts will share real-world insights on organizing Molecular Tumor Boards and precision medicine programmes in cancer centres.

This first Capacity Building Conference, which will take place in Warsaw on 10 – 11 October 2024, aims at enabling individuals and teams to improve existing or future Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructures (CCIs) through the development of research and innovation capacity.

The CCI4EU project is hosting the third of 10 online training courses to support the development of comprehensive cancer infrastructures across Europe. The upcoming course, Molecular Diagnostics and Precision Medicine, will cover key advancements in personalized cancer care. Participants will gain valuable insights into implementing precision medicine and molecular diagnostics in their institutions

Socio-economic challenges for patients and healthcare systems are also addressed.

Fifth Online Course

Empowering patients is key to transforming cancer care. This course focuses on patient-centered approaches, providing tools for patients to take control of their treatment journey. Topics include digital solutions for engagement, the role of support groups, nutrition, personalized medicine, and psychological resilience. Through real-world testimonials and practical insights, participants will learn how to empower patients for better outcomes.

Second Capacity Building Conference

The Second CCI4EU Capacity Building Conference “Accelerating Cancer Research and Innovation in Comprehensive Cancer Infrastructures” will offer specific interventions on how research can transform clinical practice and is open to candidates from EU Member States, Albania, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and Norway. Application deadline on February 2nd.
